Azerbaijan sees significant growth in mineral water exports to US

Azerbaijan exported 100,300 decaliters of mineral water, valued at $589,000 in the initial seven months of 2024, Report informs, citing the country’s State Statistical Committee.

Compared to the corresponding period in 2023, the exports grew by 22 percent in volume and 85 percent in value.

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan exported 57,000 decaliters (+78%) of mineral water to Russia for $309,200 (+54%), 9,800 decaliters (+6 times) to the United States for $172,000 (+26 times), 17,500 decaliters (-33%) to Türkiye for $51,000 (+38%), 5,700 decaliters (+2 times) to Estonia for $15,100 (+2 times), and 3,900 decaliters (+3%) to Lithuania for $10,200 (-10%).

Meanwhile, in 2023, Azerbaijan exported 125,000 decaliters of mineral waters to 15 countries, of which 47.2 percent fell to Russia and 24 percent to Türkiye.
