Azerbaijan sees 20% decline in positive balance of foreign trade turnover

In January-October 2019, Azerbaijan’s trade operations with foreign countries amounted to $28,276,000,000, up 12.1% from the previous year, Report informs citing the State Customs Committee (SCC) of Azerbaijan.

Export accounted for $ 16,821,000,000, up 5.3% from the previous year. Import made up $11,455,000,000, up 23.8%.

Consequently, the positive balance of trade turnover amounted to $5,366,000,000, down 20.1% from a year earlier.
