Azerbaijan's Shusha hosts Turkic Business Forum

The Turkic Business Forum dedicated to the restoration and development of the liberated territories has been held in Shusha today, Report informs.

The forum took place held with the support of the Organization of Turkic States, the Turkish Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan, the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA), and the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations.

Along with Azerbaijan, the event was attended by representatives of government agencies, as well as various organizations and the diplomatic corps, businessmen of four permanent members of the Organization of Turkic States (Turkiye, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan) and Hungary as an observer country. The purpose of the forum is to further deepen economic, business and investment ties between the Turkic states, promote dialogue between entrepreneurs, and present the economic and investment potential of the Karabakh region to foreign businessmen.

Officials delivered speeches and bilateral meetings, and a special session on "Investment opportunities in Karabakh and East Zangazur economic regions" were held as part of the forum.
