Azerbaijan's pasta imports from Ukraine soar

Azerbaijan imported 3,884 tons of pasta products (excluding couscous) valued at $4.82 million during the first three months of 2024, up 21% and 19%, respectively, year-on-year, Report informs, citing the country's State Statistical Committee.

In the specified period, Azerbaijan supplied 2,391 tons (+2.2%) of pasta products from Türkiye for $2 million (-10%), 1,000 tons (+79%) from Russia for $1.82 million (+53%), 289 tons (+4.1 times) for $615,000 from Ukraine (+4 times), 41 tons from Kazakhstan (no supply a year ago) for $130,000, and 36 tons (-76%) from Italy for $77,300 (-72%).
