Azerbaijan's import spending on Turkish goods grows by nearly 10%

In January-April of 2026, Azerbaijan imported goods valued at just under $764.3 million from Türkiye, marking a 9.6% increase year-on-year (YoY), Report informs, citing the Türkiye Exporters Assembly.
During the four months, Türkiye's exports to Azerbaijan accounted for 1% of its total exports.
The largest importers of Turkish goods were Germany ($6.768 billion, up 7.2% YoY), the United Kingdom ($4.609 billion, up 11.1% YoY), and Italy ($4.504 billion, up 7.6% YoY).
In April alone, Türkiye exported goods worth just over $212.5 million to Azerbaijan, which is 4.7% more than a year earlier.
Overall, Türkiye's exports in the January–April period rose by 4.4% YoY to $77.914 billion, while in April, the exports surged by 23.1% to $22.256 billion.
