Azerbaijan’s bus imports from South Korea soar

In January-May 2024, Azerbaijan imported 98 buses worth $5.97 million, up 61% and 45%, respectively, year-on-year, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.
During the reporting period, Azerbaijan bought 57 buses (+5 times) worth $2.92 million (+5 times) from South Korea, 32 buses (+25%) worth $2.14 million (+5 times) from Germany, three buses (+3 times) worth $660,000 (+11 times) from Spain, five buses (-29%) worth $186,000 (-92%) from China, and one bus (-93%) worth $100,000 (-92%) from Türkiye.
Germany accounted for 33.7% of the 163 buses Azerbaijan imported in 2023 and South Korea for 32%.
