Azerbaijan resumes sand imports from UK

During the first six months of this year, Azerbaijan imported 39,212 tons (+38.8%) of sand (silica, quartz, and other types of natural sand) worth $2.636 million (+61%), Report informs, citing the State Statistics Committee.
In the reporting period, 36,575 tons (+38.5%) worth $1.864 million were supplied from Russia (+52%), 1.361 tons (+90%) worth $260,890 (+2.2 times) from Iran, 1,122 tons (+96.5%) worth $251,260 (+2.5 times) from Turkiye, 59.12 tons (-27.2%)worth $148,100 (+35.8%) from Italy , and 16 tons worth $70,720 from the UK.
After a break of one year and one month, the supply from the UK has been resumed.
