Azerbaijan resumes orange imports from China

In January-February 2023, Azerbaijan imported 6,182 tons (9.5% more year-on-year) of oranges from $4.3 million (8.7% more YoY), Report informs, citing the country’s State Statistics Committee.
During the reporting period, Azerbaijan imported 5,894 tons (+2 times) of oranges from Iran for $4.1 million (+2 times), 285 tons (-88.5%) from Türkiye for $212,100 (-87.8%), 0.5 tons from China for $2,700, 1.2 tons (no deliveries a year ago) from Spain for $900, 1.1 tons (-99.6%) from Egypt for $900 (-99.6%).
Azerbaijan resumed orange imports from China after a break of four years and nine months.
