Azerbaijan resumes import of walnuts from Argentina

In 2023, Azerbaijan imported 5,083 tons of walnuts worth $18.31 million, Report informs referring to the State Statistics Committee.
This is 23% more than the 2022 figure in value and 0.4% more in quantity.
During the reporting period, Azerbaijan imported walnuts from Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, the United States and other countries.
After two years and five months, Azerbaijan resumed supplies from Argentina (2 tons worth $15,400).
In 2022, Ukraine accounted for 55% out of 5,000 tons of walnuts imported to Azerbaijan from 14 countries.
