Azerbaijan resumes car imports from Slovenia

In January-February 2023, Azerbaijan imported 10,907 passenger cars with petrol and diesel engines (32.3% more year-on-year) for $128.1 million (66% more YoY), Report informs, citing the country’s State Statistics Committee.

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan purchased 3,863 units (+70%) of cars from Korea for $34.175 million (+2.1 times), 2,105 units (+44%) from Germany for $21.176 million (+82.4%), 940 units (+91.4%) from Japan for $15.568 million (+70%).

Azerbaijan has also resumed car imports from Slovenia (1 unit for $4,100).
