Azerbaijan renews duck imports from Canada

In January-August 2023, Azerbaijan imported 34.2 tons (48% less year-on-year) of duck meat for $120,000 (54% less YoY), Report informs, citing the country’s State Statistics Committee.
During the reporting period, Azerbaijan imported 28.6 tons (+2.9 times) of duck meat from Russia for $77,600 (+2.2 times), 2.45 tons (-88%) from Hungary for $16,500 (-82%), 2.5 tons (+4%) from the Netherlands for $15,400 (+60%), 0.3 tons (-30%) from Luxembourg for $6,900 (-28%), 0.3 tons from Canada for $1,900.
In 2023, for the first time in the last 12 years (note: official foreign trade statistics in the public domain start in 2011), Azerbaijan imported duck meat from Canada.
