Azerbaijan reduces spending on imports from Türkiye by over 3%

In the first quarter of 2025, Azerbaijan imported goods worth $495.16 million from Türkiye, 3.2% less than in the same period last year, Report informs, citing the Turkish Ministry of Trade.

In January-March 2025, Türkiye's exports to Azerbaijan accounted for 0.9% of its total exports.

During the reporting period, the value of Türkiye's total exports increased by 2.2% year-on-year to reach $56.6 billion.

The largest imports from Türkiye were made by Germany ($4.77 billion; 2.2% more than a year ago), Italy ($3.17 billion; 0.8% more), the US ($3.13 billion USD; 1.2% less) and the UK (3.12 billion; 5.4% more).

In March alone, goods worth $184.08 million were exported from Türkiye to Azerbaijan, which is 2.6% less than the previous year.

Türkiye's monthly exports to Azerbaijan also amounted to 0.9% of its total exports.
