Azerbaijan reduces cost of importing steel from Türkiye by 8%

In January-August of this year, Azerbaijan imported $78.892 million (-8.1%) worth of steel from Türkiye, Report informs, referring to the Turkish Exporters Assembly.

In August alone, Türkiye exported $8.914 million worth of steel to Azerbaijan, 16.4% more than a year ago.

In 8 months, the total value of Türkiye's steel exports decreased by 36.4% year-on-year to $9.686 billion and in August by 25.1% to $1.352 billion.
