Azerbaijan ramps up cinnamon purchases from Iran and Indonesia

In January-March 2025, Azerbaijan imported 20.34 tons of cinnamon worth $91,000, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.
This is 54% more in value and 67% more in quantity than the same period in 2024.
During the reporting period, Azerbaijan purchased 9.7 tons (+2.4 times) of the product worth $46,000 from Vietnam (+84%), 3.1 tons (+34 times) worth $18,400 from Indonesia (+12 times), 4 tons (-29%) worth $12,000 from India (-29%), 1.95 tons (+33 times) worth $4,880 from Iran (+18 times), and 0.34 tons (+2.4 times) worth $4,300 from Türkiye (+3 times).
Vietnam accounted for 64% of the 83 tons of cinnamon imported to Azerbaijan in 2024.
