Azerbaijan proposes creating Turkic Investment Fund, Turkic Trading House

Recently, Azerbaijan’s initiatives to strengthen cooperation between member countries of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) in the fields of transport, investment, digitalization, etc. have been intensifying, First Deputy Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan Elnur Aliyev said at a meeting of the OTS Ministers of Economy and Trade and the Business Forum of the Turkic World in Istanbul, Report informs.

“In this regard, the creation of the Turkic Investment Fund, the Turkic Trading House, simplification of trade procedures, digital trade, the formation of a platform for cooperation between free economic and industrial zones of our countries are important initiatives in expanding economic ties,” the deputy minister noted.

According to him, Azerbaijan’s partnership with Turkic-speaking states is expanding, including in trade and economic relations.
