Azerbaijan increases pineapple juice imports from Germany by 94-fold

Azerbaijan imported 64.76 tons of pineapple juice worth $91,100 in January-June 2022, respectively, up 6.6% and 26.4% from the previous year, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

In the reporting period, 19.76 tons (-5%) of pineapple juice worth $43,630 (+19%) were imported from Israel, 35.68 tons (+2.9%) worth $36,020 (+20%) from Russia, 4.71 tons (+94 times) worth $6,190 (+44.3 times) from Germany, 2.85 tons (no imports last year) worth $3,740 from Austria, and 1.74 tons (+12.3%) worth $1,370 (+14.2%) from Belarus.

Last year, Russia supplied 52.6% and Israel 38.6% of the 111.46 tons of pineapple juice that Azerbaijan imported from 7 countries.
