Azerbaijan increases imports of cement, glass, ceramics from Turkiye

In January-May this year, Azerbaijan imported cement, glass, ceramics and earthenware from Turkiye for $21.752 million, Report informs referring to Anadolu Agency.

Compared to the same period last year, this is an increase of 50.4%, according to the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM).

Only in May of this year, Turkiye exported cement, glass, ceramics and earthenware to Azerbaijan for $5.275 million, which is 76.1% more than a year earlier.

In the first five months of this year, the value of Turkiye’s total exports of cement, glass, ceramics and earthenware increased by 28.5% year on year to $2.309 billion, and in May, the value of exports of cement, glass, ceramics and earthenware rose by 16.2%, to $446 million.
