Azerbaijan increases import of Georgian products

In January-May this year, Azerbaijan imported locally manufactured products from Georgia for $48.9 million, the Georgian bureau of Report informs referring to the National Statistics Office of Georgia.
According to the document, this is 48.5% more than in the same period last year.
Azerbaijan, with a share of 3.1%, ranked eighth in the top ten main partners of Georgia in the export of local products.
For the five months of this year, Georgia exported local products for a total of $2.112 billion, which is 37.5% more year-on-year.
During the reporting period, Georgia exported most of all copper ores and concentrates, ferroalloys, mineral fertilizers, fresh grape wine, natural, mineral and carbonated waters, precious metal ores and concentrates, gold, knitted shirts, nuts and alcoholic beverages.
