Azerbaijan increases expenditure on imports from Türkiye

In January-October 2024, Azerbaijan imported goods worth over $1.846 billion from Türkiye, Report informs, citing the Turkish Ministry of Trade.
According to the ministry, this figure is 1.8% more compared to the same period in 2023.
Türkiye's exports to Azerbaijan constituted 1% of its total exports.
During the reporting period, Türkiye's total export value increased by 2.6% year-on-year, reaching $186.58 billion.
The largest importers from Türkiye were Germany ($15.116 billion; 2.3% less YoY), the USA ($11.121 billion; 9.8% more), the UK ($10.613 billion; 12.7% more), and Italy ($9.704 billion; 6.6% more).
In October alone, goods worth $207.103 million were exported from Türkiye to Azerbaijan, which is 6.6% more year-on-year. Türkiye's monthly exports to Azerbaijan amounted to 1% of its total exports.
