Azerbaijan increases canned peach purchases from China 21 times

During the first quarter of 2025, Azerbaijan imported 86.75 tons of canned peaches worth $171,210, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

This is 41% less in value and 40% less in quantity than the indicator for the same period in 2024.

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan purchased 59 tons (-35%) of products worth $89,280 (-44%) from Türkiye, 10.45 tons (+21 times) worth $44,110 (+11 times) from China, 17.17 tons (-52%) worth $37,490 (-56%) from Spain, 0.06 tons (+50%) worth $230 (+64%) from Germany, and 0.02 tons (+2 times) worth $90 (+4.5 times) from Italy.

Türkiye accounted for 86% of the 745 tons of canned peaches imported to Azerbaijan in 2024.
