Azerbaijan defines tasks of state in field of state reserves

Azerbaijan has determined three main tasks of the state in the field of state reserves, according to the bill "On State Reserves" (first reading), which was discussed at today's meeting of the Milli Majlis Committee for Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship, Report informs.

According to the document, the duties of the state in the field of state reserves are as follows:

- to determine the list of strategically important goods, the risks of a sharp increase and decrease in prices in terms of the supply of these goods to the consumer market;

- to ensure the supply of strategic reserves and emergency reserves within the framework of Azerbaijan's civil defense measures, as well as the selection of suppliers;

- monitor strategically important goods (including goods provided by market participants).
