Azerbaijan, Bahrain sign MoU on customs 

Azerbaijani and Bahrain customs services signed a Memorandum of Understanding, Report informs, citing the State Customs Committee.

The document was signed by Shahin Baghirov, First Deputy Chairman and Acting Chairman of the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan, and Ahmed bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, the President of Customs Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The MoU envisages the exchange of information that helps to increase the efficiency of the application of customs procedures, the organization of working meetings, training courses, and seminars in the field of customs work, the fight against illegal trade in goods, the exchange of experience in customs control, the exchange of information and methods for the prevention and investigation of violations of customs legislation, etc.
