Azerbaijan and Tajikistan discuss export potential of agricultural products

Baku. 30 December. REPORT.AZ/ Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan, Co-chairman of Azerbaijan-Tajikistan intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation Shahin Mustafayev has met with Ambassador of Tajikistan to Azerbaijan, Rustam Soliyev.

Report was informed in the ministry that the current level of economic relations between Azerbaijan and Tajikistan, perspectives of expansion of cooperation has been discussed in the meeting.

It was noted that Azerbaijan and Tajikistan successfully cooperate in trade, investment, transport, transit, ICT, tourism, education and other spheres.

The meeting has exchanged views on expansion of cooperation in different areas of economy, transit, agriculture, export of Azerbaijani products to Tajikistan, organization of export mission of Azerbaijani businessmen to Tajikistan, importance of participation of local companies in the projects carried out in Tajikistan in term of strengthening ties between the two countries.

Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Tajikistan Hasan Mammadzade participated in the meeting.
