Automobile prices increased in Azerbaijan

Baku. 15 November. REPORT.AZ/ Upward trend of prices is observed in Azerbaijan automobile market. Prices for older vehicles seem to rise even faster. Director of Property Expert Center Ramil Osmanli told Report.

He told that the reasons are known: “There is shortage of cars in the market due to decrease in imports, which stimulates rise of prices. Changes in price depend on model. Prices for cars with value under AZN 10,000 rose about AZN 500-1000. Growth of selling price for vehicles with market value AZN 15,000-20,000 is about AZN 1,500-2,000.

According to him, situation in car market is strained: “Especially, we have to take into account that financial market is volatile. I mean quick changes in USD rate cause difficulty for entrepreneurs in the market. Of course, they are resellers. Situation in this sphere is not pleasant.

R. Osmanli doesn’t find reasonable to make any forecasts: “Forecasts destroy the market. That’s why I don’t want to make any forecasts”.
