Ambassador Bagci: Türkiye working toward increasing trade turnover with Azerbaijan

The Turkish government is working towards increasing the trade turnover with Azerbaijan, Türkiye's Ambassador to Azerbaijan Cahit Bagci told Report.

"Mutual meetings are being held in this regard. Expanding the scope of the Preferential Trade Agreement is an important step between the two countries. It is important to increase the number of goods to which trade concessions are applied from 15 to 30," he said.

The ambassador added that in early May, the meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission between the two countries will be held with the participation of Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov and Vice President of Türkiye Cevdet Yilmaz, and discussions will be held in several directions.
