Baku. 20 July. REPORT.AZ/ Scenarist Shinobu Hashimoto died at the age of 100, Report informs citing the Russian media.

Sh. Hashimoto died of pneumonia at his home in Tokyo. He wrote scenarios for the legendary films of Akira Kurosawa, including "The Seven samurai" and "Rajomon", which became the first tape of his script.

In total, Shinobu Hashimoto wrote more than 70 scenarios and continued to work until recently, stopping active activity after a stroke. He also made three films.
