Koroghlu opera will be staged to mark 120th anniversary of Bulbul

Baku. 7 December. REPORT.AZ/ The Academic Opera and Ballet Theater will demonstrate opera Koroghlu by Uzeyir Hajibeyli on December 16.

Report informs citing the theater's press service, the play dedicated to the 120th anniversary of prominent Azerbaijani singer Bulbul.

Notably, Bulbul has created a new vocal school in Azerbaijan through the synthesis of national music with European music. Over 25 years, he has done a great job in collecting, studying, writing and publishing folk musical samples.

Honored artist Farid Aliyev will perform Koroghlu part in the play dedicated to memory of the singer.

The performance will be directed by People's Artist, professor Javanshir Jafarov.
