Terrorist attack on Azerbaijani embassy and facts EU prefers not to see

Terrorism is the most dangerous crime. Some regimes do not shy away from organizing terrorist attacks or are behind such crimes. The lack of condemnation from the international community leads to even more spread of terror. Even the European Union (EU) is sometimes afraid to speak loudly about this, preferring not to name the countries behind the attacks. However, this does not prevent them from sending a mission to the South Caucasus, to the region of Armenia bordering Azerbaijan. Or, for example, Russia, which sent Ruben Vardanyan to the Karabakh economic region of Azerbaijan, and then deprived him of his citizenship - supposedly at the request of Vardanyan himself - in order to absolve itself of responsibility for his crimes.

Instead of focusing on the issue of delimiting the borders between Azerbaijan and Armenia, Moscow and Brussels are making inappropriate efforts to prevent a non-existent armed conflict, carrying out the monitoring, sending senseless peacekeeping missions.

What state threatens stability and security in the Middle East and the South Caucasus?

We can definitely say that this is Iran. There are numerous facts confirming the subversive activities of the Tehran regime in the Middle East. Iran commits explicit crimes in Palestine, Lebanon, Yemen, Iraq and Syria. Another confirmation of this is the actions of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) abroad.

What kind of subversive activities is Iran carrying out in the South Caucasus?

The Tehran regime brings confusion among Georgian citizens who profess Islam and threatens the country's security. It imposes the “doctrine of the Islamic revolution in Iran” of the political and ideological leader of the Iranian regime, Khomeini, on the citizens of Azerbaijani descent. They are trying to use these people against Azerbaijan and thereby spoil the Azerbaijani-Georgian relations.

Iran also hinders the normalization of Baku-Yerevan relations. The Tehran regime tried to drag out the 44-day war by transferring weapons delivered from Russia to Armenia. Iran obstructed the normalization process by opening a Consulate General in the city of Kafan, as well as making senseless claims about the opening of the Zangazur corridor.

For the past 3 months, Iran has been overwhelmed by protests. The country's authorities use violence against the participants of the peaceful rally. The military-police forces of the Iranian regime and IRGC killed up to 600 protesters. The United States has designated IRGC as a terrorist organization. However, the European Union, which sent a civilian monitoring mission to Armenia, cannot designate IRGC as a terrorist organization, because there are "not enough facts" to prove that.

It is not ruled out that this armed formation is behind the attack on the Azerbaijani embassy in Tehran on January 27.
