Cooperation with Syria's new administration is crucial to ensure stability in the country and an orderly completion of the transition period, Hakan Fidan, Foreign Minister of Türkiye, stated during a telephone conversation with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Report informs via Turkish media.
Fidan expressed support for the new Syrian leadership's efforts to maintain the country's territorial integrity and security.
The minister stated that the PKK/YPG terrorist organization will not be allowed to take refuge in Syria. He also highlighted the need for increased efforts to ensure a permanent ceasefire in Gaza.
