Kazakh FM: Hard to speak about violations on border since there is no delimitation between Azerbaijan and Armenia

Since there is no delimitation between Azerbaijan and Armenia, it is difficult to discuss a border violation, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Deputy Prime Minister Mukhtar Tileuberdi said at the conference of the traditional religious leaders of the world.

He said that Kazakhstan would not send peacekeepers to Armenia.

He reminded that on September 13, an extraordinary meeting of the member states of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) was held to discuss the situation on the Azerbaijan-Armenia border. The minister added that currently, the main issue is the restoration of the work of the joint commission on border delimitation and demarcation between Azerbaijan and Armenia:

"Generally, it is difficult to talk about a border violation because there is no delimitation and demarcation between Azerbaijan and Armenia. Kazakhstan is ready to share its experience on border delimitation. We have defined our borders with all neighboring countries except Russia. The agreement with Russia in this direction may last 2-3 years."
