Indonesia received nearly 3,000,000 tourists in the first quarter of 2024, which is the highest number in the past four years, Acting Head of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), Amalia Adininggar Widyasanti, said, Report informs, citing TASS.
According to her, this is a 25% increase in comparison to the same period in 2023.
Vidyasanti noted that the largest flock of tourists came from Malaysia, Australia, Singapore, and China.
