Erdogan: We will not allow Sweden to join NATO

Sweden will not be allowed to join the Alliance as long as it condones the desecration of the Quran, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said at the session of the Grand National Assembly of Turkiye.

He says Sweden should not work in vain: "Our position regarding Finland's membership is positive, but we will not allow Sweden."
