Death toll in missile attack on Vinnytsia reaches 20

The number of people killed as a result of a missile attack on Vinnytsia has increased to 20, said the deputy chief of the Ukrainian President’s Office, Kyrylo Tymoshenko.

"Currently, 20 people are known to have been killed by a missile attack on the city, including three children. Ninety people sought help from medics," the official added.

Tymoshenko clarified that the Russians hit the center of Vinnytsia with Kalibr cruise missiles, launched from a submarine deployed in the Black Sea.

Twelve people died, and 30 were injured due to Russia's rocket fire on the city of Vinnytsia, which is located in the center of Ukraine, Report informs, citing the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

According to rescuers, the missile fell near the 9-storey "Yubiley" residential house. About 50 vehicles are on fire now. 90 rescuers are working at the scene.

According to information, the dead are civilians. A child was reported among those killed.
