UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres has urged to stop the special military operation in Ukraine and launch talks right away. He believes that some elements of progress are already visible on some key issues, Report informs, citing foreign media.
“This war is unwinnable. Sooner or later, it will have to move from the battlefield to the peace table," he said.
“It is time to end this absurd war,” he said.
“There is enough on the table to cease hostilities – now … and seriously negotiate – now,” Guterres said.
