Chairman of Milli Majlis Committee: Armenia must apologize for Khojaly genocide

The Armenian government must apologize for the Khojaly genocide, chairman of the parliamentary committee for labor and social policy Musa Guliyev said at today's parliamentary session, Report informs.

According to him, 30 years have passed since the Khojaly genocide, one of the bloodiest crimes of the 20th century:

"This is a crime not only against the Azerbaijani people but also against humanity, an insult to humanity, savage vandalism, an act of massacre. The Khojaly genocide is also the essence, proof, and mirror of Armenian Dashnak fascism. The perpetrators of the Khojaly genocide must be arrested, brought to Azerbaijan, and severely punished. The Armenian government should be required to formally apologize to the families of the victims of the Khojaly genocide, the Azerbaijani state, guarantee that such crimes will not be committed again, and fully compensate for the damage (material and moral), and it should be considered one of the provisions of the peace agreement."
