Azerbaijan is represented with its national stand as a guest at the SAHA EXPO 2022 defense, aerospace, and space industry exhibition held in Istanbul, Turkiye, with the participation of 876 companies and 24 universities.
The local bureau of Report informs that Azerbaijan is represented at the event by a delegation led by the Defence Minister, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov, and Defense Industry Minister Madat Guliyev.
The exhibition is considered an important international platform where the growth of Turkiye's domestic production potential is demonstrated. A total of 268 official delegations, including 11 defense and defense industry ministers and 37 chiefs of staff, from 57 countries, are expected to participate in the event.
The event is primarily a platform created to develop national capabilities. The exhibition, which brings together companies operating in the defense and aerospace industry under the slogan of the National Technology Movement, is one of the leading institutions contributing to the nationalization movement in the field of high technology and defense in Turkiye. At the international event where high-tech products are showcased, many strategically important products in the fields of defense, aerospace, maritime, and space industries are presented for the first time this year.
