Azerbaijani judoist wins silver medal at Grand Prix in China

Baku. 21 November. REPORT.AZ/ Azerbaijani national team won another medal at the Grand Prix judo in the Chinese city of Qingdao.

Report informs, Rustam Orujov (73 kg), won silver medal on the second day of competition.

24-year-old athlete has overtaken Spanish athlete Kiyoshi Uematsi, Chinese Yinzhiragal Sai, Kazakh sporstmen Dastan Ikibaev and the Dutchman Dirk Van Tichelt, and reached the final. In the decisive game, he lost to the Japanese Soishi Hashimoto.

Note that in the first day of competition Ilgar Mushkiyev (61 kg) and Nijat Shihalizade (66 kg) won gold medals. Grand Prix will end on November 22.
