Lightning kills 16 people at wedding in Bangladesh

At least 16 guests at a wedding died in Bangladesh thunderbolt, Daily Bangladesh reports, citing the police.

Report informs, citing RIA Novosti, that the incident occurred on Wednesday morning in the country's north when the guests were sailing on the Padma river.

Police officers say at least six more people suffered and were hospitalized. There are fears that the death toll may further rise.
