A mine explosion occurred near Jamillar village in Azerbaijan's Shusha district.
According to Report, the press services of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Prosecutor General's Office and the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) issued a joint statement on the incident.
The statement said that Baku resident Bakhtiyar Bayramov, born in 1979, was driving in an uncleared area along the former line of contact when his vehicle struck an anti-tank mine.
He sustained injuries of varying severity in the explosion.
The Shusha District Prosecutor's Office is investigating the incident.
ANAMA, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Prosecutor General's Office once again urged people to follow safety rules, pay close attention to mine warning signs, avoid touching suspicious objects, refrain from entering unfamiliar areas and not interfere with fenced-off zones where clearance work is underway.
