Azerbaijan represented at International Education Week in US

Azerbaijani students of the Florida International University (FIU) in the United States represented Azerbaijan at the International Education Week, Report informs.

The International Education Week was attended by heads of leading universities in many countries (Israel, Somalia, Costa Rica, Pakistan, Brazil, India), representatives of various educational institutions, and students of other universities. Azerbaijan was represented at the International Education Week with a stand called Land of fire Azerbaijan.

The Azerbaijani stand, opened with the support of the Azerbaijani-American Cultural Association and organized by Azerbaijani students from the FIU, is decorated with the country's tricolor flag. Azerbaijan's national attributes, souvenirs with a magnificent view of Baku, and books about the history of Azerbaijan and the 44-day chronicle of Victory were displayed in Azerbaijan's pavilion.

Aydin Eminov, a student of Political Science and International Relations at FIU, made a presentation on Azerbaijan's history, geography, rich culture, and national traditions. Eminov spoke about the great victory of the glorious army of Azerbaijan and President, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev in the 44-day Patriotic War.

During the event, Nabat Eminova, an Azerbaijani student of Nova Southeastern University in Florida, spoke about the Kharibulbul flower, which grows only in Karabakh, especially in Shusha. Eminova briefed the unusual and unique features of the rare flower, which symbolizes Azerbaijan's remarkable victory.

A table was set with delicious dishes belonging to Azerbaijani cuisine during the school week, and the guests got acquainted with it.

In the end, the Azerbaijani students thanked the University's International Student Advisor and Event Coordinator Claudia Biscardi for the conditions created for them. The educational exhibition will last for three days.
