The flag of Azerbaijan is raised at rallies in New Caledonia, the executive director of the Baku Initiative Group (BIG), Abbas Abbasov, said at a press conference, Report informs.
He said that BIG supports the just struggle of Corsica, New Caledonia, and other French colonies: "The important contribution of the President of Azerbaijan to the decolonization process, his decisive position in the fight against colonialism, and the fact that he repeatedly raised this issue in international organizations support them. With this, they show their sympathy for our country and our leader by waving the Azerbaijani flag in peaceful protest actions.
