Azerbaijan presents note of protest to France

Baku. 17 November. REPORT.AZ/ Embassy of Azerbaijan in France has issued a protest note to the Foreign Ministry of this country.

Report informs that Spokesperson of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry Leyla Abdullayeva said commenting on the visit by the head of the separatist regime of Nagorno-Karabakh, Bako Sahakyan to France.

"The Foreign Ministry has already made a definite and concrete statement on this issue. Azerbaijan considers the step taken by France- a permanent Member of the UN Security Council and a co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group- which allows a representative of occupying country and regime to visit their country and to create opportunity holding meetings within the visit, as a step promoting the occupation regime. And we consider that this step of France seriously undermines its objectivity and impartiality.

In connection with this step of France, the Embassy of Azerbaijan in France issued a protest note to the French Foreign Ministry," Leyla Abdullayeva said.
