US Treasury Department: Russia's $330B frozen in last 100 days

The US Government has frozen or blocked $330 billion in assets belonging to the Bank of Russia (Central Bank) and Russian citizens over the past 100 days, Report informs with reference to the US Treasury Department.

According to the department, $300 billion of these funds belong to the Russian bank, and $30 billion to the Russians.

The United States has imposed various sanctions on Russia since February 24 in response to Russia's invasion of Ukraine, blacklisting its officials and business people.
