Heydar Aliyev Center renders support to countries affected by coronavirus VIDEO

Heydar Aliyev Center is a complex construction, which includes an auditorium (congress center), a museum, exhibition halls, and administrative offices. Following a design competition in 2007, Zaha Hadid Architects was chosen to oversee the design of the Heydar Aliyev Center.

The Center holds exhibitions and concerts to support the development of culture and introducing world culture to Azerbaijan, and expands the relations between countries and people through its projects.

Heydar Aliyev Center has displayed a video mapping on the building of the Center as a symbol of Azerbaijan's solidarity with the countries where the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic is widespread.

Report says, citing the Center that on April 3, the flag of the People's Republic of China was projected on the building of the Center, accompanied by the music of this country.

Notably, today, China has declared a national day of mourning for those who died in the coronavirus pandemic.

As an expression of Azerbaijan's solidarity with the international community against the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, Heydar Aliyev Center will display the flag of each country affected by the virus every day on the building of the, one of the world's architectural monuments, accompanied by the country's music.

In this way, the Heydar Aliyev Center expresses its support, respect and esteem for the countries where COVID-19 is widespread and their peoples.

The projection on the building of the Center will last every day from 20:00 to midnight.
