Azerbaijan's hosting of the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) this year will play an important role in adapting the country's agricultural and environmental policy to advanced international practice, technological exchange and innovation, Deputy Minister of Agriculture Sarvan Jafarov said, Report informs.
Speaking at the republican meeting on the demonstration of new land and resource protection technologies to adapt to climate change held in Yevlakh, Jafarov noted that the use of innovative approaches and tools in this direction will contribute not only to the protection of the environment, but also to the sustainability of agriculture, the provision of ecologically clean food and to the increase of well-being in rural areas.
