Kazakhstan intends to carry cattle through Azerbaijan

Live cattle will be carried to Kazakhstan’s Kuryk port through Baku International Sea port within the project worth 500 million Kazakhstani Tenge (KZT), which is being implemented by Meat Union of Kazakhstan and planned to import of 5,000 cattle, Report informs citing Kazakh media.
Thus, a route of cattle import stretches from Georgia’s sea ports to Baku International Sea Port, then to Kuryk port via ferry. At the same time, Kazakhstan intends to export cattle to Iran and Turkey via the same route.
The national program of Kazakhstan to develop the cattle breeding plans to import 960,000 cattle to the country.
