Chile resumes corn export to Azerbaijan

In January-April this year, 28,700 tons of corn (including seed corn) worth $10.591 million were imported to Azerbaijan from abroad.
According to Report’s calculations based on the data of the State Statistics Committee, this is 26.7% more in value terms and 48.7% more in quantitative terms compared to the same period last year.
During the reporting period, 27,571 tons of products were imported from Russia for $6.949 million, from Turkiye - 578.93 tons for $1.306 million, from Serbia - 171.42 tons for $839,160.
This year, for the first time after six years and five months, deliveries from Chile were resumed. Some 30 kg of products worth $220 were imported from this country.
