Azeripek’s export revenues sharply decline

In 2022, Azeripek LLC, a subsidiary of Azerbaijan Industrial Corporation OJSC, exported products worth $1.7 million, which is a decrease of $2.3 million, or 2.35 times compared to a year earlier, Report informs referring to the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communications.

Azeripek LLC was established in 2018. The annual production capacity of the enterprise for processing seeded cotton is 3,000 tons, for the production of raw silk from unwound cocoons - 350 tons of wet cocoons and 450,000 linear meters of silk, 400,000 tons of semi-finished cotton fabric, for dyeing production – 24,000 kelaghai (traditional women’s headwear), 4,000 scarves and 8,000 headscarves. The company mainly exports its products to Russia, Turkiye, and Iran.
