Azerbaijan starts selling apricots to one more country

In the first half of this year, Azerbaijan exported 1,074 tons (+2.8%) of fresh apricots worth $1.2 million (+16.5%), Report informs, citing the State Statistics Committee.
According to the information, 1,008 tons of products (+4.8%) worth $1.1 million (+7.1%) were sold to Russia, 64.3 tons worth $139,000 to Belarus, and 2,2 tons (-44.6%) worth $1,000 to Kazakhstan (-49.1%).
This year, for the first time in the last 11 years (note: publicly available official statistics on foreign trade are up to 2011), supplies were made to Belarus.
During the reporting period, 56.5 tons (-93.1%) of apricots worth $98,000 (-90.5% ) were imported into the country.
54.8 tons (-93.2%) worth $90,000 (-91.2%) was purchased from Turkiye, 1.6 tons (+49.1%) worth $7,000 (+49.3%) from Iran, and 0.05 tons (unchanged) worth of $400 (+33.3%) from South Africa.
