Azerbaijan starts exporting almonds to 3 more countries

In 2024, Azerbaijan exported 581 tons of almonds worth 2.27 million, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.
This is 21% more in value than the 2023 figure, and 31% less in quantity.
Last year, Azerbaijan sold 308 tons (-60%) of almonds worth $860,000 (-40%) to Uzbekistan, 154 tons worth $808,100 to Türkiye (supply resumed after two years and six months), 68.6 tons (-18%) worth $360,600 (-20%) to Russia, 44 tons worth $226,600 to Iran, 6 tons worth $10,700 to Georgia, and 0.06 tons worth $410 to Germany.
Last year, for the first time in 13 years (note: the official statistics on foreign trade in public use are as of 2011), supplies were made to Germany, Georgia, and Iran.
